I have been crafting for as long as I can remember. I really got into scrapbooking when my son was born and starting doing cards about a year ago when I discovered Youtube and all the wonderful blogs! There is so much inspiration out there and I love following the different blogs.
I have been going back and forth on starting my own blog and have finally decided "why not?"! So many other's do it, I may as well give it a shot too! I would also love to start doing videos, but I think I will take it one step at a time! Since I am new to this blog thing, I am still working on the layout and adding gadgets and buttons! It may look a little weird for a while, so if any of you can give me suggestions, I would LOVE it!
So, onto my first project post! YIPEE! It is not a card or papercrafting project, but I do have many of those lined it to post in the future. This is a diaper wreath I made for my hubby's cousin who was having her first baby.
Isn't it just adorable! It was so easy to put together. I think I used a pack of 36 diapers and I had some left over. To attach the diapers I just wrapped them around a foam wreath base that I bought at Michael's and put a rubberband around them to hold them in place. I picked up some cute little baby toys at Marshall's and some spoons and wash clothes from Target and attached them with ribbon. To finish it off, I added a tulle ribbon at the top. I think it turned out really cute and was such a cute decoration at the shower. She was able to take the wreath to hospital and hang on her door and the diapers could be used once she got home!
